Ciao! You Can Now Translate iFixit in Italian

We started iFixit to teach everyone how to fix everything. It’s a lofty goal, and we’ve been slowly building an army of fixers around the world in order to achieve it.

English is the most common language in the world, but as more and more people gain access to the internet across the globe, it’s not enough to make our guides and tools accessible to everyone. We already have 12 different languages on iFixit: English, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch, Turkish, Portuguese, Korean, and Russian, and now we’re pleased to announce that Italian is available for translation.

iFixit is now available in Italian

Thanks to the help of some wonderful volunteers, the user interface has been entirely translated, and now, anyone can help translate our repair guides into Italian. We’re very excited that many of you have joined us on our translation quest!

Repair may be easier than it seems, but it’s not necessarily easy. It’s our task to make our resources approachable to consumers regardless of experience, so that’s why it’s even more important that they’re fully accessible to fixers across cultures. Translation makes repair global, and every single repair helps to keep things in use and out of the landfill.

But we have thousands of repair and troubleshooting guides that we’d still like to share with our Italian friends—that’s where you come in. If you want to help, here are popular pages that need translation. And if you’re interested in helping, but don’t speak Italian, there are other ways to contribute.

If you have any problems, questions, or feedback about our translations project, please contact us at translate@ifixit.com.

Together we can fix the world, one device at a time.

Non vediamo l’ora di leggerti! Ciao!
