Here are some ways you can help right now:

• Fix something. Thousands of free repair manuals on iFixit make it easy to get started, whether you’re fixing your iPod or changing the brakes on your car.
• Teach repair. The next time you fix something, take some photos! Post a quick how-to on iFixit so the rest of us don’t have to learn the hard way. Or, improve an existing repair guide.
• Spread the word. ‘Nuff said.
