Are you going to Macworld? Because we are, and we’d like to meet you there.
Macworld—held from March 27-29 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco—is the ultimate conference for Apple fans. It also happens to be one of our very favorite events to attend—and this year we’ll be out in full force. We have three official Macworld events scheduled on Thursday, March 27th. Then, later that evening, we’re heading over to Techshop for an iFixit meet-up party. We’d love to see you at any, or all, of the events.
Here’s all the details:
Meet us on stage in the Expo area. We’ll be chatting with Chris Breen of Macworld about all the latest Apple news, tech, and repair techniques.
We’ll be talking about how to turn your garage workstation into a storefront. We’ll cover the basics of tablet and smartphone troubleshooting, parts sourcing, and repair. If you are starting a repair business, diversifying your existing business, or just looking to make a little side cash you should be there.
Macworld/iWorld’s RapidFire is all about getting “to-the-point” and teaching the audience one cool thing, really quickly and really effectively. We’ll be showing off five repairs that you can do in five minutes.
Drop by the Techshop on Howard St. in San Francisco (just a couple blocks away from Macworld), and chat with the iFixit crew. We’ll talk about anything you’re interested in—repair tips, new Apple tech, how to smoke the perfect rack of ribs…whatever you’d like. And speaking of food, we’ll provide dinner, beer, wine, and other beverages. Hey! Did we mention that the meet-up is totally free? Even parking is free too! Just RSVP to the event and we’ll see you there!
